Solvo Energy can provide UK business customers with a no upfront cost solar PV system via our Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) Solution.
The PPA solution is a financial arrangement that allows you to benefit in a no-cost solution in return for an agreement to buy the electricity the system produces at a discount to market prices for the life of the agreement. The agreement is typically for 15 years and offers a cost per unit of electricity that is likely to be 10-50% cheaper than your current rate.
Solar Electricity you consume is purchased at a cheaper rate than is available from your current energy provider.
A zero capital route to improving your company’s environmental responsibility, enhancing relations with green thinking customers, suppliers and staff.
We proactively manage the system under a long term operation and maintenance contract including the provision of insurance cover, at no cost to you.
The unit price you pay for electricity generated by the solar PV system will only rise inline with RPI, allowing you to budget more effectively.
The PPA can be transferred to new occupants of the property should you move to new premises.
The up-front costs are met by a leading financial institution who require only the best and most reliable Tier 1* equipment to be installed. They further require that the system is maintained throughout the duration of the agreement to the highest possible standards to ensure the system produces the quantity of electricity required for your business.
The agreement is fully transferable. In the event that your business outgrows your current premises, the PPA contract can be transferred to the new occupants.
Ownership of the system transfers to you at the end of the agreement period, typically 15 years. As a Solar PV system has an estimated operational life of at least 40 years, this means that you will receive FREE green electricity for the remaining 25 years of operational life.
* Tier 1 solar panels are built with higher standards (to last longer and produce abundant solar power) and have a highly regarded reputation within the solar industry for quality and service.
